Chinese standards for food safety to be published

Food Safety Standard and Supervision Assessment Division under National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China published No. 9 Notification to release 47 national standard for food safety including National Standard for Food Safety—Food Additives—Sodium Hexametaphosphate on 30 December 2015.

This release include 21 national standard for food additives, 12 for food enrichment and 14 for specific types of food, not covering national standards on food contact materials.
 
On the 8th Session of Sub-committee of the First National Standard Assessment Commission on Food Safety in November, the Sub-commission had reviewed 56 standards, which concluded the task of standard harmonisation and improved the framework for food-related standards in China.
