Lianyungang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (in Jiangsu Province, China) destroyed imported products that violating against regulations as detected in 2015 collectively on 9 March 2016. The products involving toys, pull-ups and food worth more than RMB 70,000 Yuan.

The main reason for toy destruction lies in the non-compliance of labelling, mechanical and physical items, posing a choking hazard to children. Toy products are always a highlight for quality surveillance on the China market and regulated by the series of GB 6675.

Imported pull-ups are polluted resulting from packaging breakage. It is known that Lianyungang Inspection and Quarantine Bureau detected 173 batches of imported disposable hygienic products (covering pull-ups and sanitary napkins) falling short of the standard requirements. Since the listing of disposable sanitary products on the legal inspection catalogue, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) attaches great importance to the inspection and supervision on such products. It should be noted that imported disposable sanitary products shall comply with GB 15979-2002 Hygienic Standard for Disposable Sanitary Products.

C&K Testing is capable of performing tests for toys and imported disposable sanitary products. We can help to assure you of product quality so as to avoid trade risks.
